I’ve spent years across radio, photography (weddings and corporate), video production, drama-based learning, and corporate comms and presentation training. At WIDEO.co.uk I bring all of that together to craft videos, live streams and podcasts that feel human and actually work for your audience.

I cut my teeth in radio (Including two years at Capital Radio in London) where you learn fast that every word counts. It taught me to listen properly, hear the story beneath the noise, and ask the question that gets the good stuff. That editorial ear stuck: I’ve got a sharp eye for language that connects, and I teach this in comms work all the time. Make it simple, make it land, make it worth saying.

Photography sharpened my eye. Weddings gave me the “no retakes” discipline; corporate shoots taught me how to handle pressure, people and brand. Video production became the place where sound, picture and story finally met, and where I could help teams turn jargon into something watchable.

In the learning and development world I directed drama that changes behaviour, not just tick boxes. It’s where I learned how performance, pacing and truth make training stick. In the media training sector I worked on comms and spokesperson projects. It’s the world of message discipline, tricky questions and leaders who need to land it first time. These are people who can be at the heart of a breaking news story, often under pressure and in the spotlight. The organisations we’ve supported are serious players too. These companies make up around 40% of the FTSE 100, so clarity and calm really matter.

I’ve coached radio presenters and now podcast hosts, plus business leaders and first-timers who’ve never been near a camera or mic. From “I do this for a living” to “I’m terrified”, I meet people where they are. Breath, pace, energy, emphasis; edit the script so it sounds like you. Then bring the audience with you. On set I keep it calm and professional; in the studio I warm people up, find their voice, and help them say the important thing like a human.
