The Video That Showed Leadership Was About People, Not Just Policy
Human Connections in a Sensitive Time
Just after the Grenfell fire, housing associations faced intense scrutiny. We helped A2Dominion capture how their leadership team came together with honesty, trust, and care.
A2Dominion is one of the UK’s leading housing associations, managing thousands of homes across London and southern England. They provide both affordable social housing and private rental accommodation, supporting some of society’s most vulnerable people while also serving residents in higher-end properties. After the Grenfell tragedy, the spotlight on housing associations intensified. For A2Dominion, it was a crucial moment to show leadership and strengthen internal trust.

The Brief
Working with training partner EmergingU, A2Dominion’s newly formed executive team undertook a programme designed to build relationships, address challenges, and create a stronger culture at the top. Our role was to document that process. Not in a glossy, surface-level way, but in a way that reflected the sensitivity of the moment and the humanity of the leaders involved.
How WIDEO.co.uk helped
We discreetly filmed key training sessions, capturing the candid conversations and moments of connection that took place. Alongside this, we conducted thoughtful interviews with members of the leadership team, creating space for them to reflect on what the training meant to them and the organisation. With additional cutaway footage, we wove it all together into a film that showed not just what was said, but how trust was beginning to grow.
The Finished Video
The result was a testimonial video that felt authentic and respectful. It showed how A2Dominion’s leaders were willing to be open, to listen, and to work through both procedural and people issues. By focusing on the human side of leadership, the video helped demonstrate a culture of care. One that resonates strongly with both residents and staff.
“It wasn’t about a polished image, it was about showing how we were learning to trust each other and lead with care.”
